CABG

Dr. Umre has done more 5000 bypass , 95-99 % of these are beating heart surgeries. He has pioneered the use of LIMA Y grafts instead of LIMA -RIMA Y to achieve Total arterial grafting, He has also done many MIDCABs too.

He has introduced Dr. Umre’s stitch, to reduce the stretch on LIMA .

Valve Surgeries

Dr. Umre has done more than 1000 valve surgeries.

This includes MVR, AVR, DVR, CMVs redo valve replacement and repairs with good outcomes.

Cardio Vascular Treatment

He has done more 2500 vascular procedures.

This includes Aortobifemoral Bypass, Axillobifemoral bypass, femoropopliteal bypass, popliteal - tibial bypass, Embolectomys, Carotid Endarterectomies, Carotido - Subclavian bypass, Aneurysm repairs. Also a few endo vascular stentings for Aorta.

Cardio Thoracic Surgery

Dr. Umre has done more than 500 Thoracotomies for lobectomies, pneumenectomy, decortication, Bullectomy, tumour excision, biopsies.

He has done quite many VATS as well.
